Santa Cruz Skateboards have been going pretty much from the start. After selling their first skateboard in 1973 , they have gone on to be one of the industry's most recognisable brands . Pioneers in skateboard technology , they were the first company to move away from clay wheels and start using urethane instead. Their iconic screaming hand graphic and classic dot logo , designed by legend Jim Phillips , are still used today.
